Leading by example

Over the last eighteen months we have been delivering a leadership programme for a client designed to bring about changes in ‘front-line’ practice by leaders changing their leadership/management practice.  The organisation is under significant pressure from the industry regulator to make changes and the client’s initial approach was for a very prescriptive, ‘remedial’, parent/child style programme but by taking some time to step back from the issue and consider alternative approaches it was agreed that a facilitative, adult/adult style was much more likely to be effective.  At this stage well over a hundred managers have been through the programme and […]

Are you getting enough sleep?

Culture change and habit

CIPD Behavioural Science Conference

We recently ran a workshop on  Implementing Effective and Brain Friendly Change Management as part of the CIPD Behavioural Science Conference.   The session focused on how our increased understanding of the brain offers us the opportunity to improve personal and organisational change management in very practical and tangible ways.  With plenty of change experts in the room we had some great insights into how neuroscience can help explain previous change challenges and successes and allow us to make change a more positive and successful process.  If you would like a copy of our ‘Brain-friendly Change Checklist’ please get in touch.
