Leadership and management development

We design and deliver Leadership and Management development programmes that give participants a unique neuroscience, psychology and business toolkit to enhance their leadership and management effectiveness. The role of the Leader and Manager has never been as complex and challenging as it is today and conventional approaches to developing and delivering the role have limited success i.e. a poor track record of enhancing effectiveness and delivering lasting change. By combining neuroscience, psychology and business tools we enable people to: Enhance their personal effectiveness; Develop better interpersonal and group skills; Plan, lead and manage change more successfully.

business-presentation-in-hip-office1We have a range of ‘off-the-shelf’ development programmes that address key leadership and management topics including: Change Management, Personal Effectiveness, Working with Others, Innovation and Creativity, and Coaching. We also offer these as a stand-alone, modular Leadership-Management programme and recommend our Neuroscience in the Workplace programme as a primer before attending any of the other more specific programmes.

We have designed and delivered Leadership and Management programmes across a wide range of sectors including: Aerospace, Defence, Engineering, Food, Local Government, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Retail and Service, and throughout the UK, Europe and beyond.

Our usual definition of Leadership is ‘building and maintaining teams, communities or organisations that exceed expectations’ and we believe that leadership should be measured by both results and legacy.

Our workshops

Our Leadership and Management workshops are a blend of input, group discussion, exercises, psychometrics (where appropriate) and personal reflection to draw out practical learning and clear action points. There is an emphasis on ‘creation rather than consumption’ and we use a ‘flipped classroom’ model where participants study material beforehand at their convenience and then come together to discuss/practice when and how to apply it

hhOur workshops are supported by unique technology tools and ‘nudge’ psychology to help people disrupt habits and apply new behaviours.

Each programme is customised to a client’s particular needs and context and can be supported with one-to-one-coaching. For maximum impact we recommend group sizes of no more than ten participants.
